In the webinar, “ManureDB: The Creation and Launch of the Largest Manure Nutrient Database in the U.S.,” Bohl Borman will describe the purpose and function of ManureDB as well as highlighting the diverse nutrient book values of manure and how these values may inform nutrient management practice implementations
The event will provide local farmers, landowners and urban residents with a chance to discuss and ask questions about conservation practices aimed to improve water quality and soil health, as well as managing risk from weather variability and climate change.
In the webinar, “What Lies Beneath: The Impact of a Cereal Rye Cover Crop on Corn Seedling Disease Severity,” Matthiesen will provide data and outcomes from a field experiment conducted during 2021-2023 at 16 locations in the U.S. in which the effects of termination timing of a cereal rye cover crop were evaluated.
